From the Merrit Parkway:

Take exit 53.

If you’re coming from the South (Fairfield etc.), take a right at the light at the end of the ramp.  Go to the next light (which is a stone’s throw away).  Bear right at this light onto Main Street Putney.  Stay on this for about half a mile or so.  Boothe Memorial Park will appear on your left.  There are many buildings.  You will pass the cute church and the parking lot next to it.  Pass the next driveway.  Then take the driveway just past the big house.  Follow around into the parking lot that sits away from the road.  Some playing fields will be to your right.  In the parking lot go to the far front corner by the stone wall.  That’s the playing space.

If you’re coming from the North (Milford, New Haven), take a left at the end of the ramp.

Go back under the highway, till you come to the third light.  At this light turn right onto

Main Street Putney.

From I-95

 From I 95 South:

Take exit 32.  At the bottom of the ramp there is a round about.  Join it, but you’ll be getting off almost immediately, a right onto W. Broad St.  Stay on Broad St. until the light at the end of the road.  Turn left onto Main St.  Stay on Main St for a while.  You will go back under 95, continue through the Barnum Avenue intersection, past Paradise Green (keep the park to your left, you will then drive through some shops)  Stay on Main St. for about another mile.  You need to keep your eyes open because you’ll want to take a left onto Main St. Putney.  Main St continues straight but gets called River Road.  The Housatonic will appear to the right.  You should just see the river about where you want to turn.  There is no light at this intersection.  Once on Main St. Putney, continue up the road ¼ to ½ mile.  Boothe Memorial Park will appear on your right.  The trees end and you’ll see a cemetery and some playing fields.  Take the first right into Boothe Memorial Park.  Drive around to the back of the house where there is a parking lot.  The “stage” is in the sunken garden to the right of the building.

From I 95 North:

Take exit 32.  At the bottom of the ramp bear left.  At the light Turn Left.   Go back under 95.  Go into the round about.  At the far side you’ll bear right or stay straight depending how you look at it.  This will raise discussion.  In any case you are really on the same road:  W. Broad St. .  Stay on W. Broad St. until the light at the end of the road.  Turn left onto Main St.  Stay on Main St. for a while.  You will go back under 95, continue through the Barnum Avenue intersection, past Paradise Green (keep the park to your left, you will then drive past some shops).  Stay on Main St. for about another mile.  You need to keep your eyes open because you’ll want to take a left onto Main St. Putney.  Main St. continues straight but gets called River Road.  The Housatonic River will appear to the right.
Visitors should be careful when using Mapquest or Google Maps; there are some inaccurate listings for Boothe Park.
